To ensure your mower works perfectly in the next mowing season, it’s time to prepare Navimow for winter storage.
Get your tools ready
Prepare the following items:A screwdriver (Do NOT use an electric screwdriver)
A brush for cleaning the mower
A pair of protective gloves for removing the blades
4 silicone pegs (Take them out from the mower's box)
Charge your mower
To preserve the battery, you need to power off the mower and charge it before storage to avoid battery drainage.Note: It is recommended to take out the charging station and the mower and charge the mower every 120 days during winter.
Step 2: Power off the mower and pull it out from the charging station.
Note: If you have enabled Anti-theft, press the OK button for about 3 seconds, enter the PIN code to unlock, and the mower will be powered off soon. Go to Settings > MOWER > Reset PIN code if you forget your PIN code.
Uninstall your charging station and mark its location
Use the silicone pegs to mark the location of the charging station, so that you can find where it was previously installed in the next mowing season.
Step 1: Unplug the charging station.
Step 2: Unscrew the 4 screws off the charging station.
Step 3: Mark the charging station with the 4 silicone pegs.
Step 4: Disconnect the charging station and the antenna cable.
Step 5: Leave the silicone pegs in the ground.
Uninstall the antenna
Step 1: Uninstall the screw from the antenna
Note: If there is any inconvenience, the antenna installed on a wall or roof can be left at its place. Use a plastic bag or a cover to cover up the antenna for protection.
Step 2: Turn the mower upside down and clean it with brush.
Step 3: Use a water hose to wash away the dirt and leave the mower to get dry.
Put everything into the box and store them
Finally, pack the mower, the charging station, the antenna, and all the cables into the box. Store the box in a dry, frost-proof indoor place where the temperature is between 0°C (32°F) and 35°C (95°F)
