This is normal behavior. After the batteries are installed, the MowGate status indicator light will remain on for about 10 seconds to confirm that the device is powered on and functioning normally.
To reduce power consumption and extend battery life, the green indicator light will then automatically turn off.
When MowGate detects a magnet (for example, when the robotic mower approaches), the indicator light will turn on again, indicating that the system is operating properly.
