MowGate is an intelligent access gate designed specifically to enable mowers to move safely and autonomously between different lawn zones. It enables seamless cross-zone mowing by automatically detecting the approaching mower, unlocking, and opening the gate—allowing the robot to move freely between different lawn areas without manual intervention.
It uses a Hall-effect sensing unlock system, which detects magnetic field voltage changes to accurately identify when the mower is approaching. Once detected, the gate unlocks and opens automatically, allowing the robot to pass through smoothly and safely.
During the automatic opening process, MowGate is designed to prevent pets from escaping the yard, reducing safety risks and easing the user’s supervision burden.
With MowGate, the mower can:
- Enter and exit autonomously without any manual door operation
- Travel across multiple zones, even if the charging station is located in a different area
- Automatically return for charging, ensuring efficient power management and full-yard coverage
MowGate is powered by 4 D-cell batteries (6V total), no wired power required, making installation flexible and convenient.
