Good winter storage for your Navimow i2 LiDAR guarantees a superb mechanical and performance state in spring and helps maintain battery life.
Follow the steps below to prepare your Navimow i2 LiDAR for winter storage.
Step 1: Disable All Mowing Schedules
Open the Navimow app.
Go to Home > Settings > Mowing Schedule.
Disable all mowing schedules.
Step 2: Hibernate Your Mower
Hibernation helps save energy and preserve the battery during long-term storage.
Make sure the mower’s battery is charged to at least 85%.
In the app, tap “Begin hibernating” to power off the mower.
Hibernation consumes less energy than a standard shutdown.
NOTE:
To wake the mower from hibernation, charge it first before powering it on.
Tip:
If hibernation mode is not enabled, the mower must be recharged once every three months.
Step 3. Store the Charging Station and Mark Its Location
Use the silicone pegs to mark the location of the charging station so you can easily find it in the next mowing season.
Disconnect the charging station from the power supply.
Unscrew the four screws on the charging station.
Mark the charging station location using the four silicone pegs and leave them in the ground.
Disconnect the charging station and the antenna cable.
Step 4: Clean the Mower and Accessories
Clean the outer shell of the Navimow i2 LiDAR using a wet towel or soft brush.
Clean the mowing mechanism.
NOTE:
Wear protective gloves when cleaning the mowing mechanism to avoid injury from the blades.
Step 5: Pack and Store
Pack the Navimow i2 LiDAR, charging station, power cable, and all accessories in their original packaging.
Store them in a dry, frost-free place.
Ensure the storage temperature is between 5 °C and 45 °C.
