If the mower cannot pass through MowGate, there may be several possible reasons. Please check the following steps one by one:
1. Check whether the magnet is installed correctly
- MowGate requires a magnet to unlock the gate.
- If the magnet is not installed, the mower may try to push the gate but will not be able to open it, resulting in a failure to pass through.
2. Check lighting conditions and reflective markers
- The mower relies on reflective markers on MowGate to recognize the gate position.
- If the lighting is extremely poor or the reflective markers are dirty or blocked, the mower may not be able to detect the gate and could report a gate-passing failure.
Please make sure:
- The reflective markers on MowGate are clean
- The mower’s camera is clean and free of dirt or debris
3. Check for obstacles near the gate
- If there are obstacles, objects, or people standing near the gate, the mower may fail to pass through:
- In some cases, the mower may not detect the gate at all
- In other cases, the gate is detected but physical obstruction prevents passage
Please remove any objects blocking the gate area.
4. Check for pets or animals near the gate
- If animals are present in front of the gate, or if the mower detects an animal while passing through, the mower may stop for safety reasons and fail to complete the gate passage.
- If this happens, please manually move the animal out of the mowing area and allow the mower to retry.
