In an open area, the Navimow X3 should be no more than 200 meters (656') away from the antenna. A single antenna can cover a signal range of 200 meters (656') in radius from its center.
For larger lawns, it is recommended to place the antenna in the center of the area or consider purchasing a Signal Enhancement Antenna to improve the GPS signal reception for the Navimow X3.
Since the RTK system requires the mower and antenna to share visible satellites, a secondary antenna is particularly useful in scenarios where the lawn includes a front and backyard separated by heavy tree cover. This setup helps ensure better satellite sharing and improved performance.
